Create a turkey wing style handbroom using natural broomcorn, which is both durable and beautiful. In this workshop, you’ll learn traditional broom making techniques and make a small, practical broom. You'll also have the option to add a fabric twine hanging loop, making your finished broom easy to display or keep close at hand. Measuring approximately 19" long, your completed handbroom is perfect for sweeping up little messes while adding a touch of handcrafted charm to your home.

During the workshop, you will:

•  Learn traditional broom-making techniques as you create your handbroom from start to finish.

•  Discover the history of broomcraft, the natural materials used in this time-honoured craft, and how to properly care for your handmade broom.

WHAT TO BRING: All tools and materials are provided.

PREREQUISITE: This workshop is beginner friendly, however it is physical and will require the use of your whole body.

Any classes cancelled by us due to low registration or health mandates will have the option for a refund or transfer to future date.
