Create a small hand-stitched fabric book using reclaimed fabric scraps and simple running stitches. Students will piece fabric together to form soft, durable covers and finish the edges with a stitched blanket binding. Inside, the book will contain assorted paper and/or fabric pages. The finished book measures approximately 5½" × 4½" and can be personalized with ribbon ties, fabric strips, or small buckles for closures. Students are welcome to bring meaningful scraps, ribbons, or trims to incorporate, although all materials and supplies will be provided. This 6-hour slow-stitching workshop is suitable for beginners aged 14 and older and focuses on simple hand sewing techniques, creativity, and the thoughtful reuse of textiles.

PROJECT: An approximately 5½" × 4½" book soft cover book that can be personalized with ribbon ties, fabric strips, or small buckles for closures.
