Create a charming landscape with yarn and wool fabric strips using traditional rug hooking techniques. This beginner-friendly class guides students through material choices, colour selection and explains various methods of finishing edges. Students will complete a 6” square sample while learning foundational skills they can confidently apply to larger, more detailed hooked projects.
PROJECT: Students will receive a hand-drawn landscape pattern on stretched linen backing and learn to hook using a variety of yarns and wool fabric strips in different sizes. With guidance on texture and colour, they will complete the project to the finishing stage and leave with their work, hook, and frame.
