This class will guide you through wet felting a unique, custom toque using 100% merino wool.

PROJECT: Following step by step, you will wet felt your own unique toque made from merino wool. We will use your own head for sizing, so the toque will be for you or someone with a similar sized head. Learn basic knowledge of calculating shrinkage of wool, how to build template for toques, properties of different wools, and basic decorating technique. This instructor will demonstrate how to make a seamless toque using a resist as well as methods of decoration. Decoration will be custom to each student. Toque base will have a few colour options in neutrals (black, white, brown, and blue).

DISCUSSION: basic knowledgeable of different kind of wool/ fibers and their property for felting, decorating techniques

INCLUDED: All materials for the duration of the class are provided.

PLEASE BRING: - 2 old towels (keep dry your hand and working table)

You can bring a Plastic or Vinyl apron (optional). Lots of energy, wet felting is a work out!

PRE-REQUISITE: None!  This is a beginner class, no experience necessary.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Due to very small class sizes, we are unable to offer refunds on workshops. If for any reason you are unable to attend, you can send someone in your place. Any classes cancelled by us due to low registration or health mandates will have the option for a refund or transfer to future date.
