Fabric marbling is an aqueous surface design technique practiced around the world. Floating pigment on a thick liquid surface, called a size, the pigments can then be manipulated into various marbled patterns. Once the final pattern is achieved it can then be transferred to your fabric.

Project: Students will work in pairs to each make four pieces of marbled cotton fabric approximately 9 x 14”.

Prerequisite: None! All experience levels are welcome.
