Woven wall hangings are taking over walls everywhere and if you're into them you might as well make your own. These small looms are lightweight and portable so you can take them with you on that summer road trip. A great way to get into weaving, learn some basics and then the possibilities are endless!

PROJECT: Students will weave a small woven wall hanging.
DISCUSSION: Techniques covered include loom set up, plain weave, crochet-weaving, shape building, looped rya knotting and a variety of fringe options. You will get a chance to experiment with roving and other unconventional materials. This workshop will end with a discussion about finishing and hanging your piece.
PREREQUISITE: None! This is a beginner class, no experience necessary
All materials are provided for the duration of the class. Looms will be available for purchase after class (small $65 large $95), as well as hand made weaving needles ($8) and beaters ($15).
NOTE: Class size limited to 6 people. All materials provided, Lady Craft portrait included. Class will break for lunch, lunch NOT included. Cancellations must be made 72 HOURS BEFORE class date for full refund. Class subject to cancellation if minimum registration of 5 people is not met. Class end time may vary by 15 minutes.
